Germaine Guérin wrapping
All of our wrapping, from the boxes and ribbon to the silk paper and the paper printed in an exclusive shade, is made in France and in Italy. Through this presentation, Germaine Guérin continues a tradition of understated elegance and artisanal craftsmanship, true to the Parisian spirit that has inspired it since its inception.

The quality of the materials
The historic box, adorned with paper that evokes the luxurious texture of crushed velvet, was distinguished by a gold border, a delicate inscription “Germaine Guérin, 243 rue Saint-Honoré” in gold letters at the lower left corner, and an interior lined with pale yellow paper, matched by silk paper in the same shade.
Today, this heritage is beautifully enhanced: the golden border is faithfully preserved, while the Germaine Guérin Volutes now adorn the center of the box, replacing the original inscription.

An ode to Paris
The inspiration behind this choice of colours?
Paris, bien sûr.
Since the 1950s, Germaine Guérin boxes have celebrated the essence of Paris and the soul of the Maison. Inspired by the iconic colors of the Paris Métropolitain and the famous entrances designed by Hector Guimard, they feature the muted green of sculpted wrought iron and the pale yellow of the “cornichon” (gherkin), two hues deeply connected to the history of the City of Light.
